Bragger Second; Owls Third at WSC Citrus

San Dimas, CA – The Citrus College Men's Golf team, paced by a second place finish by sophomore James Bragger, finished in third place on Monday afternoon at their home hosted tournament. Bragger carded a one under par 71, finishing one stroke behind Ventura's Brandon Resnick who posted a 70, helping the Owls finish one stroke ahead of fourth place Santa Barbara and kept Citrus just seven strokes behind second place College of the Canyons.

Behind Bragger, freshman Aaron Coiner continued his recent strong play with a round of 75. Freshman Joshua Strong was two-strokes back with a 77, while freshman Gabriel Sosa came into the clubhouse with a 78. Sophomore Justin Orona rounded out the scoring rounds with a 80 to help give the Owls a combined total of 381 just edging Santa Barbara's 382.

The Owls will be back out on the road this coming Monday when they travel to the SoCal Regional Preview at El Camino Country Club in Oceanside, CA. While the Owls will be taking on the rest of the best in SoCal, the event will also count as the annual WSC Neutral Site Event. Tee-time is set for 12:20 PM.
