The Chaffey Panthers paid a visit to Citrus College Friday for a Southern California Regional match against the Owls. Citrus would drop the match 0-4.

Although the score displayed a large margin, the teams were closely matched at most every position. The Owls struggled on the defensive end in the first half though, and Chaffey took advantage, netting 3 of their 4 goals in the first 45 minutes of play.

Despite the slip ups on defense, Citrus attacked the Chaffey goal with a matched intensity. Citrus fired off 8 shots on goal, to Chaffey's 9. Imer Figueroa took 2 shots on goal and another 3 shots in the effort, and goalie Edward Youssef recorded 5 saves on the day.

The loss moves Citrus to 0-3 in 2019. The Owls take the pitch next on Tuesday in a road game against Cypress. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
