Citrus Softball notched a non-divisional conference win on Tuesday when they hosted College of the Canyons. The Owls beat the Cougars 4-1 and broke a 3 game skid in the process.

Danielle Dominguez picked up the win on the circle, her first of the season for the Owls. Becky Winder stepped in for the save, also her first of 2019.

Offensively, Emily Paredez led the charge against the Cougars, going 2 for 4 with a double and a home run, driving in 3 of the 4 Owl runs. Katie Kempton recorded the 4th RBI on a sac fly in the 2nd inning, and scored a run as well. Cerina Martinez recorded a single on one at bat and scored a run.

The Owls improved to 3-8 overall in 2019. Citrus takes the field again Thursday in a road game against Riverside. Game time is scheduled for 2:30 PM.
