Citrus Women's Basketball lost a conference game to the visiting Glendale Vaqueros Saturday afternoon at Citrus College.
The Owls competed tightly with the Vaqueros throughout the entire game, but Glendale pulled ahead at the end and escaped the Owls Nest with a 64-56 win.
Citrus drops to 11-10 overall and 1-2 in conference play so far this season. The Fighting Owls will recover and come back Wednesday night in another conference faceoff, this time with visiting Antelope Valley. Tipoff is at 5:00 PM in the Citrus Gymnasium.
