Women's Basketball Finishes Strong at Antelope Valley

Women's Basketball notched another key conference win on Wednesday with a road win over Antelope Valley. The Owls topped the Marauders 52-47 and stayed strong in the 2 spot in the WSC East.
Kyannie Brown continued her solid offensive production for the Owls, dropping 23 points on 9 for 17 shooting to lead all scorers, and also grabbed 13 rebounds, an impressive 6 of those coming on the offensive glass. Malia Rocha continued to improve and contribute, scoring 10 points and snatching 5 rebounds. Keely Wall, one of the best rebounders in the state, grabbed onto 16 boards and handed off 5 assists to her teammates. Wall is 4th in the state in defensive rebounds with 189, 6th in total rebounds with 265, 12th in rebounds per game with 12 and 6th in minutes per game. Brown is 11th statewide in field goals with 154.
Citrus moves to 3-1 in WSC East play and 14-8 overall. The Owls play next on Saturday when they host Victor Valley at 5:00 PM.
