Lopez Finishes 3rd, So 4th at CCCAA State Championships

Morro Bay, CA -- Citrus College freshmen Jamie Lopez  and Lexandra So posted the best ever finishes by a Citrus College Women's Golfer at the 2014 California Community College Athletic Association State Championships Sunday and Monday. Lopez finished third overall, while So was right behind in fourth place.

Both women started off impressively in the opening round Sunday morning with So taking the individual lead with a 75, and Lopez just two strokes back with a 77. On the second day, Lopez came in with a 78, while So carded an 80 as both ladies tied with a two round combined total of 155. The tie breaker came down to the second day score, giving Lopez the third place finish.
