San Dimas, CA - Sophomore Lexi Tunstad turned in her best performance of an already solid 2016 campaign on Monday afternoon when she turned in an 18-hole round of 76 at the WSC Event hosted by the Owls at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course. Her 76, was just one stroke shy of the top round of the day, placing her in second individually. 

 Freshman Alexandra Martinez was the second lowest Owl in the clubhouse with a round of 87 that kept her just outside the Top 10. Freshman Bruna Prestes picked things up after a tough few weeks with a 90. Freshman Angela Adams came in under 100 with a 99, while freshmen Lauren Madueno and Grazia Watkins posted non-scoring rounds of 107 and 110.

The Owls finished with a team score of 352, finishing behind undefeated Santa Barbara City College and well ahead of third place Bakersfield College and fourth place Antelope Valley College.

Citrus hits the road once again this coming Monday when they head up to Bakersfield for the WSC Bakersfield Event. Tee-time is set for 11:00 AM at Kern River Golf Course.
