Bakersfield, CA – The Citrus College Women's Golf team maintained their status quo at the WSC Event hosted by Bakersfield College. The Owls once again finished in second place for the sixth time this year, and were paced once again by sophomore Lexi Tunstad.

Tunstad came into the clubhouse with a round of 85, good also for ninth overall individually. Freshman Angela Adams put together one of her best rounds of the year, posting a 89. Freshman Alex Martinez took a small step backwards with her 18 hole score of 94, while freshman Grazia Watkins recorded her first scoring round of 2016 with a 99.

As a team, Citrus shot a combined 367. There score was 37 strokes behind first place Santa Barbara, and 18 strokes ahead of third place Bakersfield.

The Owls will resume WSC play a week from Wednesday when they travel to the WSC Event hosted by Glendale College.
