Shizuka Okochi Qualifies For State Golf Finals

Citrus Women's Golf ace, Shizuka Okochi has qualified for the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships. Okochi qualified Monday after 2 rounds of play in the SoCal Championships. 

The Sophomore golfer has maintained a top 20 ranking this season en route to one of her best rounds of the year Monday. Okochi narrowly missed one of her best scores of the season despite a few setbacks on the back 9, but posted a qualifying score nonetheless to be the sole Owl moving on to the state level. 

The CCCAA Championships will be held at Morro Bay Golf Course this Sunday and Monday. Tee times begin at 11:00 AM both days.
