Citrus Women's Golf played its third round of 2019 this Monday in a Western State Conference contest, hosted by Santa Barbara City College. The Owls played against the entire WSC field in the 18 hole round at Rio Bravo Country Club.

Citrus' current team leader is Giselle Moran, whose season best was an 89 back at the WSC neutral match in Ventura on August 26th. Moran's 104 in Santa Barbara Monday was a small slip, but still keeps her in the #16 spot in the conference for now. Maya Payan shot her season best round with a 101, moving up a couple notches to 17th, closely trailing Moran. Bringing up the rear are Corinne Littlefield, who has already shaved strokes off her average in the young 2019 season, and Emily Ramirez who also continues to knock strokes off her average, making steady progress each week.

The Owls play again September 22-23 at the North/South Invitational at the Morro Bay Golf Course in Morro Bay, California. The two day event features the best teams from both halves of the state going head to head for North/South bragging rights, and should prove to be an intense two days of competition.
