Owls See Massive Improvements on Home Course
Citrus College hosted the Western State Conference #2 tournament Monday and saw massive improvements to its team score. The Owls posted a 409, shaving almost 30 strokes off their finish from last week, to take sixth as a team.
Erika Oceguera led the Owls with a 97 on the day, followed by Alyssa Barron with a 100. Samantha Gonzalez and Victoria Cirrito each finished with a 106 to round out the team scorers for the Owls, who also saw Katie Knudsen post a 112, shaving 10 strokes off her previous best score.
The Owls head to Simi Hills Golf Course next week for WSC #3, set for an 11:00 a.m. tee time.
