Four Owls Named to CCCSCA Scholar-Athlete Team

Glendora, CA -- Four Citrus College Women’s Soccer athletes were recently named to the California Community College Soccer Coaches Association Women’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete team. Sophomore’s Jordyn Haynes, Sheyla Sanchez, and Jessica Tullius, along with freshman Alyssa Dunn, all earned the honors.
Licata Inks With Colorado State Pueblo

Glendora, CA -- Citrus College freshman women’s soccer player, Kacie Licata signed a scholarship offer to continue her playing career recently. Licata will be headed to Colorado State University-Pueblo for the Fall 2014 season.
Nine Owls Named All-Conference

Glendora, CA -- The 2013 Western State Conference South Division All-Conference team was announced recently, and the Citrus College Owls had nine individuals listed. Four were named 1st team selections, three 2nd team, and another two to the Honorable Mention.
When The Wheels Come Off

San Diego, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Soccer team headed into Saturday afternoon’s California Community College Athletic Association Playoff match-up with San Diego Miramar with some optimism. Unfortunately for the Owls, things didn’t go their way as they wheels came off for Citrus, and when they did, they did so in a bad way, as they fell to the host Jest 6-0.

The Soccer Playoff Preview: Regional Round #1

For just the second time in progam history, the Citrus College Women's Soccer Program will be participating in the CCCAA Playoffs. The Owls, the #12 seed in the South, will be headed down to San Diego to take on SoCal #5 San Diego Miramar College. The match is set for a 2:00 PM start.

Women’s Soccer Back in Post-Season

Glendora, CA -- For the second straight year, the Citrus College Women’s Soccer program has found itself in the California Community College Athletic Association Southern California playoffs. The Owls will be at San Diego Miramar College this coming Saturday, with the game set for a 2:00 PM start.
Eight Is More Than Enough

Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Soccer team closed out their 2013 regular season on Friday afternoon in Citrus Stadium against West Los Angeles College. The Owls exploded for eight goals, which was more than enough in an 8-0 victory.

Glendora, CA -- Sophomore Valerie Flores scored a pair of goals and freshman Kacie Licata notched a pair of assists, breaking the program record for assists in a season, on Friday afternoon in Citrus' 3-0 win over visiting Antelope Valley College.

Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Soccer team showed a sixth sense for finding the back of the net on Tuesday afternoon in their Western State Conference South Division match-up with visiting Bakersfield College. The Owls scored six goals against a hurting, but usually resilient Renegade squad.

Santa Monica, CA -- After staking themselves to a quick 2-0 lead early in the first half, the Citrus College Women’s Soccer team suffered a meltdown in their second half of action at Santa Monica College on Tuesday afternoon. The Owls gave up three second half goals and suffered their first loss in the month of October 3-2.
Owls Notch Big Road Win; Move Into Tie For First

Glendale, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Soccer team picked up a big road win on Friday evening 3-2 at Glendale College. The win, pulled the Owls even with College of the Canyons for first place in the Western State Conference South Division, with six games to go.

Culver City, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Soccer team went on the road for another WSC South match-up on Tuesday afternoon at West LA College. The Owls struck early, and it was enough as all three of their goals were scored in the first 12 minutes en route to a 3-0 win.
