Citrus College keeps one-upping itself and grabbed a 5-0 victory over Norco College Tuesday. After opening the year with a 2-0 win, the Owls have scored one more goal in each of their next three games to boast a 4-0 undefeated record on the year. The Mustangs drop to 0-6-0 with the loss.

Kaylee Sanchez got the Owls on the board first with a goal in the 25th minute, tucking in a shot into the near post.

The Owls then exploded in the second half, scoring four goals within a span of 15 minutes. Kayla Morales found the back of the net in the 62nd minute after a loose ball fell to her feet inside the 18-yard box. Sanchez then got her second goal of the game in the 72nd minute with a beautiful finish to the far post from the top of the box.

Less than two minutes later, Morales hurled a long throw-in, deep into the 18-yard box where Abigail Salvador flicked it into the goal. Jayme Beatty capped the scoring with a goal in the 77th minute, finishing a loose rebound from close range.

Three different Citrus goalkeepers split time but didn't have to do much work as the Owl defense held the Mustangs to no shots on goal and extended Citrus' shutout streak to 360 minutes.

The Owls remain at home, hosting San Bernardino Valley College on Friday at 3 p.m.
