Owls Give Back to Community

Last week, the Citrus College men's and women's aquatics teams took time out of their summers to give back to the community.

The Owls helped put together 37 backpacks for Olive Crest, a non-profit dedicated to preventing child abuse that services the Inland Empire and High Desert areas. The backpacks were assembled with school supplies for students varying from kindergarten to high school.

"We are extremely proud of our student-athletes for donating backpacks and school supplies to children in crisis to help them with their educational journey," said Citrus head men's and women's water polo and swim coach Jennifer Spalding.

Some of the Citrus football team also helped put together some backpacks for Olive Crest.
