Runners Head North For Tour de Cuesta

Citrus Cross Country hit the 101 North to San Luis Obispo for the Tour de Cuesta last Friday, hosted by Cuesta College. 

The top performer for the Owls was Eduardo Castillo who pulled off a 16th place finish in the heavily talent-stacked men's field. Castillo posted a time of 25:35.1 (25 minutes, 35.2 seconds) for an average mile time of 6.23.8 (6 minutes, 23.8 seconds). 

The team takes a week off from competition to prepare for the So Cal Preview in San Diego on September 13th. The Men's race is set for 3:00 PM, followed by the Women at 4:30 PM.
