Torres Qualifies for State Championship

Citrus College's Adriana Torres qualified to race at the State Championship after a strong performance at the SoCal Finals Meet on Friday.

Torres finished the 5K with a time of 20 minutes, 40.6 seconds (51^st) to keep her season alive and represent the Owls at the State Championship on Nov. 20 in Fresno, Calif.

On the men's side, Saul Mora posted a time of 22:43.5 in the four-mile, followed by Joseph Cruz's time of 25:05.9. Jason Bailey wasn't too far behind, crossing the finish line in 25:23.6 and Weston Hakanson rounded out the Owls with a time of 26:41.4.
