Both Owl Hoops Teams Grab Rankings

Both Citrus College men's and women's basketball teams picked up rankings in the first poll of the regular season.

The Owl men sit at No. 16 on the CCCMBCA Poll, while the Owl women are picking up votes in the CCCWBCA State Poll and are No. 12 in the CCCWBCA South Region Poll.

Citrus' men sit at 7-3 on the year and are in the middle of the Fullerton Tournament, taking on host top-ranked Fullerton College on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.

The Citrus women grabbed their best start to the season in almost two decades (no records are available prior to the 2004-05 season) after opening the year 7-1. The Owls currently boast an 8-3 record heading into the Grossmont Tournament next weekend where they will face MiraCosta on Saturday, Dec. 18, at 1:00 p.m.
