Owls Move to No. 5 in CCCMBCA Poll
Citrus College moved up one spot in the final California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association Poll, now standing at No. 5 in the State.
The Owls head into the postseason with a 25-3 overall record and picked up the No. 2 seed in the SoCal Regional after winning their fifth conference championship in six seasons with a 13-1 conference mark.
Citrus continues to rank in multiple statistical categories in the State, including first in holding opponents to a 25.6 shooting percentage from beyond the arc, fifth in steals per game (10.8), and seventh in three-pointers made per game (9.9) and offensive rebounds per game (13.7). Citrus also boasts the sixth-best home attendance average in the State.
The Owls host No. 18-seeded Cypress College on Saturday at 7 p.m. after the Chargers defeated Long Beach City College on Wednesday in the opening round.
