Citrus College is set to start the year ranked No. 10 after the California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association released the preseason rankings.

The Owls – who sit fifth in the Southern California Preseason Top 25 – come off a 28-4 season where they won their fifth conference title in six seasons and their second-straight trip to the CCCAA State Tournament Elite Eight.

While Citrus might be a young team – with only four sophomores on a roster of 16 – three returners look to lead the group, including All-Western State Conference-South honoree Rudy Suarez.

The Owls open the season at home on Thursday, hosting Mt. San Antonio College at 5 p.m.
