No. 25-ranked Citrus College hit the road for the first time this season and walked away with a close 61-59 victory over San Diego Miramar.
The Owls improve to 7-2 with the win, while the Jets drop to 4-5 on the year.
JJ Mitchell led the Owls with 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting and added 11 rebounds for his third double-double of the year. EJ Bryson followed with 15 points (5-for-9) and Brandon Suber chipped in 13 points (5-for-13).
Citrus returns home to host West Hills Lemoore on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 5 p.m.
