In its second ranked battle of the week, No. 28-ranked Citrus College took No. 16-ranked Allan Hancock College to double overtime but fell in an 86-74 battle.
The Owls slip to 9-5 on the year, while the Bulldogs improve to 12-4 overall.
Four Owls finished the game in double figures with Malik Khouzam leading with 14 points (5-for-15). Rudy Suarez (4-for-16) followed with 13 points, while EJ Bryson (3-for-13) and Brandon Suber (5-for-9) each chipped in 12 points.
Citrus looks to bounce back next week as it begins Western State Conference action on Wednesday at Bakersfield College, tipping off at 5 p.m.
