No. 15-ranked Citrus College hit the road for the final time in the regular season Wednesday evening but fell in an 87-76 loss to Antelope Valley College.
The Owls slip to 20-7 on the year and 11-2 in Western State Conference action, while the Marauders improve to 14-13 overall and 8-5 in conference.
Three Owls finished the night in double figures with JJ Mitchell leading the trio with 19 points (9-for-16). Brandon Suber followed with 16 points (6-for-13), while Malik Khouzam chipped in 10 points.
Citrus closes out the regular season on Friday at home against No. 9-ranked West LA, tipping off at 5 p.m.
