Citrus College headed south and battled San Diego Mesa but dropped a 2-1 loss.
The Owls fall to 2-5 on the year while the Olympians improve to 1-4 with their first win of the year.
Citrus found itself trailing 2-0 two-thirds through the game putting pressure on the Owls to find the back of the net.
The Owls finally broke through in the 83rd minute as Matt Morales found Enrique Bedolla to put Citrus on the board. Time expired before the Owls could capitalize again, however, ending the game with the 2-1 result.
Edgar Villafana fished with eight saves in the game for Citrus.
The Owls are back in action Friday, hosting Palomar at 3:00 p.m.
