Citrus College took on Compton College Friday afternoon but couldn't break through in a 2-0 defeat.
The Owls drop to 2-2-1 on the year, while the Tartars improve to 3-2-2 overall.
Citrus took nine shots in the game and had seven corner kicks, but just couldn't seem to break through the Compton wall. Jose Alvarez-Novales, Alan Lira and Hector Guevara each had two shots in the game.
The Owls continue on the road with a pair of games next week, first facing San Diego Mesa on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.
