Owls Leave Cerritos Mini on High Note

After dropping the first game of the Cerritos Mini, Citrus College bounced back with a dominating victory to cap the day. The Owls dropped a 14-10 battle to the host Falcons before exploding out to a 14-3 victory over Fullerton College.

Citrus improves to 7-4 overall, while the Falcons improve to 13-6 and the Hornets drop to 0-9 on the year.

In the first game, Riley Bagley and Killian Pressley led the Owls with three goals each, while Adam Herald scored twice, and Colton Vale and Thomas Gibson also scored for Citrus.

Brian de Lama made 15 saves in the cage for the Owls.

In the second game, Citrus jumped out to a 9-0 lead before the Hornets even knew what hit them.

Once again, Bagley and Pressley scored hat tricks, while Devon Dow also netted three goals. Roberto Guerra, Vale and Gibson also rattled in goals for the Owls.

Citrus turns right around to play two games on Saturday at Southwestern College.
