Citrus College couldn't hold off No. 9-ranked LA Valley in a 20-7 defeat Wednesday afternoon.
The Owls slip to 13-10 overall and 2-2 in Western State Conference action, while the Monarchs improve to 10-11 on the year and 3-1 in conference.
Riley Bagley scored three of the Owls' seven goals, while Aiden Herald, Devon Dow, Gavin Tanner and Thomas Gibson also scored. John Wilson dished out two assists in the game.
Citrus heads to the Southwestern Tournament this weekend for its final tune-up before the WSC Championship next week.
