Moore Named NFCA All-American

Glendora, CA -- Citrus College sophomore Sara Moore, became the third straight Citrus College Softball player to be named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American recently. Moore was just one of 10 individuals from Southern California and 20 in the entire CCCAA to earn the honors.

Moore was one of the top offensive players in the State in 2014, batting .543 on the year, the third highest average in the State. Moore finished the 2014 season 42 RBI's, 11 home runs, 11 doubles, and 41 runs scored. Moore posted a .605 on-base percentage and slugged .915, the ninth highest mark in the CCCAA.

In addition to being named an NFCA All-American, Moore was the WSC Blue Player of the Year, and a CCCFCA All-State selection. Moore is the third straight Owl to be named an All-American, following Angela Aguinaga in 2012 and Kawehi Ephan in 2013.
