Four Owls Grab All-Conference Honors

Four Citrus College Owls earned All-Western State Conference honors following the conclusion of the season.

Jaidyn Harris picked up first-team honors, while Mia Godoy grabbed second-team distinction. Tatiana Figueroa and Patty Rodriguez grabbed Honorable Mention.

After joining the team when the season was already in progress, Harris quickly established herself as the Owls' ace. In 26 appearances, Harris grabbed 11 wins, which ranks fourth in the conference. She threw 95 strikeouts, including 10 against Oxnard College – the first Owl to do so since 2015 – to sit third in the conference.

Godoy finished the year with a .370 batting average and .639 slugging percentage (first on the team). Of her 40 hits on the year, 14 went for multiple bases, including seven home runs on the year. Godoy led the Owls with 32 RBIs and drew a team-high 13 walks as well.

Figueroa ended the season with 25 hits, including six for extra bases. She scored 16 runs and drove in eight others.

Rodriguez was second on the team with a .395 batting average and a .596 slugging percentage. She finished with 45 hits, scoring 24 times and batting in 21 of her teammates. Rodriguez led the Owls with 11 doubles – tied for seventh in the conference – and hit three triples and two home runs.
