Rodriguez Named 3CFCA Player of the Week

Citrus College's Patty Rodriguez was named the California Community College Fastpitch Coaches (3CFCA) Player of the Week after helping the Owls grab three-straight wins last week.

The sophomore outfielder was unstoppable in the final game of the week going 3-4 at the plate with seven RBIs, two home runs, and two runs. She put a stamp on the game on the final play when she blasted a grand slam for the walk-off 11-3 run-rule win to hand the Rustlers their first loss of the season.

Rodriguez finished the week with 11 RBIs, three home runs, one double, five hits, and three runs.
