Warriors Spoil Owls' Weekend

Citrus College battled but drop a 4-2 loss on the road to El Camino College Saturday afternoon.
The Owls slip to 18-17 on the year, while the Warriors improve to 18-14.
El Camino struck first with two runs in the bottom of the first but Citrus responded in its next chance at the plate. With a runner on third and one out, Jasani Zavalza (1-for-3) singled up the middle to score Patty Rodriguez (1-for-3).
The Warriors got a run back, but the Owls kept fighting and pulled within one once again in the top of the fifth as Leah Morales (1-for-4) knocked an RBI single to left center.
Despite trying to claw their way back in, the Owls couldn't hold off the Warriors and gave up another run in the sixth as El Camino held on for the 4-2 victory.
The Owls have just four games left in the regular season, heading out to Antelope Valley College on Tuesday for their second-to-last conference contest.
