Glendora, CA -- Citrus College sophomore Nicole Zugasti was named the Western State Conference South Division Player of the Week late Tuesday night. Zugasti picked up the nod for her play last week against Bakersfield College.

In the Owls' lone contest, Zugasti scored a game 19 points and grabbed a game high 15 rebounds. It was her fifth double-double of the year. Zugasti is currently second in the WSC South in rebounds a game in conference play where she is averaging 11.2 boards a contest.

It's the first time Zugasti has earned the honor this season, and the fourth time overall a Citrus player has been named the Player of the Week. Zugasti and the rest of the Owls will be on the road tonight when they head West to take on West Los Angeles College in Culver City. Tip is set for 7:00 PM.
