For the second game in a row, Citrus College put up a fight but came up just short in a 51-48 loss to Antelope Valley College.
The Owls slip to 7-14 overall and 3-4 in Western State Conference-South action, while the Marauders improve to 8-11 on the year and 3-2 in conference.
Reanne Reola led the Owls with 13 points, while Giselle Garcia-Nunez followed with 11 points.
Joceline Escamilla grabbed 10 rebounds, while Gabriela Valdez dished out five assists.
Citrus returns home to host the West LA on Wednesday for its Coaches vs. Cancer game, which is set to tip off at 5 p.m.
