Both Citrus Basketball Teams Hold Rankings

Both Citrus College basketball teams are back in the rankings this week after the men moved up one spot to No. 27 and the women sit at No. 24.

The Owl men come off a pair of Western State Conference wins, including a come-from-behind victory over Santa Monica City College after finding themselves trailing by 21 points halfway through the first half.

Citrus' women boast a 12-4 overall record and opened WSC action with a pair of wins last week to extend their winning streak to three games.

Both teams return home to host the College of the Canyons on Wednesday, with the men tipping off at 5 p.m. and the women following at 7 p.m. It marks the women's long-awaited return to the Owls' Nest after playing two months on the road.
