Valley Glen, CA (Women's Soccer) -- The Citrus College Women's Soccer team reached their seventh win on Tuesday afternoon at LA Valley. The Owls beat the host Monarchs 3-1, surrendering just a late PK near the end of the contest. It's the fastest an Owls squad has reached seven wins in program history.

Freshman Jordyn Haynes would get things started in the 25th minute when she scored her first goal in her Citrus career off an assist from sophomore Jade Vehawn. Freshman Leandra Escobar punched in her third 13 minutes later when she took a pass from sophomore Julia Wills and made it 2-0 Owls.

With the win, Citrus improves to 7-0-2 overall and 3-0 in WSC South play. The Owls will face a tough test on Friday when they host Bakersfield College. The match is set for 1:00 PM.
