Glendora, CA (Women's Soccer) -- Citrus College freshman Jordyn Haynes did her best impression of one of the greatest athletes in the world on Friday afternoon when she scored seemingly at will and became Air Jordyn. The Owls got a pair of goals and an assist from Haynes in what ended up as a 3-0 rout for Citrus against visiting Bakersfield College.

Haynes wouldn't score the first goal of the game, but she did have a hand it in it. Haynes passed the ball to sophomore Jasmine Williams in the 18th minute, and Williams put the ball away for the sixth time this year as she made it 1-0.

After that it was Haynes who scored the goals. Haynes' first goal would come in the 42nd minute when Williams returned the favor to Haynes who made it 2-0. A minute and 13 seconds later Haynes pushed the ball past the Renegades keeper, again after a pass from Williams to put the lead at 3-0.

The Owls would be held scoreless in the second half, but the Citrus defense kept Bakersfield off the board. Freshman goal keep Dominique Oro earned her first start of the year in the game, and she made the best of it, stopping nine shots and recording a shutout in her first start.

With the win, Citrus continues to build upon it's best start in program history with a 8-0-2 overall record. The Owls also improves to a program record 4-0 in Western State Conference South Division play. Next week will be the biggest week of the year thus far for Citrus. The week kicks off on Tuesday when the Owls will play host to LA Pierce College at 6:00 PM.
