No. 12-ranked Citrus College set a new program record for most goals in a single game after downing Glendale College 10-0 Friday night.

The Owls improve to 10-1-0 overall and remain undefeated in Western State Conference-South play with the win. The Vaqueros drop to 0-8-0 overall, 0-4-0 in conference.

Citrus dominated from the start, finishing with 52 shots, including 27 on goal, while not allowing Glendale a single look offensively.

Samantha Casas tied the program record for most goals scored in a single game with three. She struck first in the 15th minute, before completing the hat trick with two goals in the second half.

Kaylee Sanchez scored two goals, including one 30 seconds after Casas' first goal, while Abigail Salvador also found the back of the net twice. Janelle Alvarado, Edith Mendoza and Iledza Rodriguez-Zazueta also scored for the Owls.

Citrus heads to the College of the Canyons for a big test on Tuesday. The two teams currently share the top spot in the WSC-South standings, each with a 4-0-0 conference mark.
