Seven Owls Earn Scholar-Athlete Recognition

Seven Citrus Women's Soccer student-athletes grabbed California Community College Soccer Coaches Association (CCCSA) Scholar-Athlete honors, awarded to student-athletes who achieve not only on the field but in the classroom as well.

Giovanna Romera Damiani, Iledza Rodriguez-Zazueta, Kayla Morales, Emily Ruiz, Edith Mendoza, Brianna Herrera-Martinez and Abigail Salvador all picked up the recognition.

To be honored as a scholar-athlete, the student-athletes must have completed at least 24 semester or 36 quarter units and boast a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
