Citrus Posts Top-10 Finishes at WSC Championship

Citrus College competed at the 2022 Western State Conference Swim and Dive Championships, taking eighth on both sides.

Teghan Miller led the Owls with three top-10 finishes. She took fifth in the 500-yard free with a time of five minutes, 50.58 seconds. She also took sixth in the 100-yard free, touching the wall in 58.94 seconds, and eighth in the 50-yard free in 27.29 seconds.

On the men's side, Julian Nichols also had three top-10 finishes. He took sixth in the 200-yard free with a time of 1:50.23 and finished ninth in both the 50-yard free (22.72 seconds) and 100-yard free (49.81 seconds).

Matty Roebuck also had a top-10 finish, touching the wall in 58.85 in the 100-yard fly to take eighth.

Gabby Orozco took ninth in the 100-yard breast with a time of 1:10.71, while Sabrina Rodriguez followed in 1:27.06.

Sey Currie clocked in the 100-yard fly in 1:24.33 and then 1:04.77 in the 100-yard freestyle.

Amanda Herrera finished the 100-yard fly in 1:39.85 and the 100 free in 1:14.82.
