Fresh off hosting the Citrus Mini, Citrus College had another busy day with two games at the Cerritos Mini. The Owls grabbed a 13-8 victory over host Cerritos but fell 22-8 to Orange Coast College to move to 5-9 on the year.
Teghan Miller led the Owls with nine goals, two assists and six steals, while Sierra Beltran scored five goals and added two assists and five steals. Mia Meldrum netted two goals and dished out three assists, while the Owls also saw goals from Andrea Hayler (three assists and two steals), Delaney Latham (one assist and four steals), Amelia Wolfe (three assists) and Charly Figueroa (three steals).
The Owls are back in action next Thursday, hosting Santa Monica and Cuesta College for a pair of conference games.
