The Citrus College cross country teams kicked off the 2021 campaign at the Moorpark Invite Friday morning.

Adriana Torres led the women in the 5K, finishing in 15th place with a time of 21 minutes, 27.11 seconds. Navneet Ghotra followed in 26:51.56, with Stephanie Wong right on her tail in 27:15.75. Nancy Cubillo finished in 35:39.40 to round out the Owl women.

On the men's side, Saul Mora led the Owls with a time of 24:29.12. Eduardo Prestegui crossed the finish line in 24:51.21, followed by Joseph Cruz, who clocked in at 25:47.20. Jason Bailey posted a time of 26:29.20 for Citrus.
