Larue Finishes in Top-10 at WSC Preview

Citrus College previewed the Western State Conference Championship race on Friday, with Ryleigh Larue continuing to impress.

Larue finished the women's race in 19 minutes, 57.7 seconds to finish in the top 10. Emily Aparicio followed with a time of 25:21.3, while Sara Fisher and Ashley Campuzano rounded out the Owl women with respective times of 28:55.7 and 29:42.6.

On the men's side, Saul Mora led the Owls with a time of 26:15.0 to place in the top-50. Jason Bailey wasn't far behind, clocking in at 27:06.0, while Edward Prestegui Melchor finished in 28:57.4. Nick Jung posted a time of 30:36.1, followed closely by Christopher Duran's time of 30:44.5. Gio De La Cruz crossed the finish line in 32:10.5.

The Owls will compete in the WSC Championship in a little less than a month on October 21.
