Larue Leads Owls at SoCal Championships

Ryleigh Larue qualified for the State Championship after leading Citrus College at the SoCal Championships. 

The freshman crossed the 5K in 19 minutes, 33.6 seconds to take 29th overall. Emily Aparicio was the next Owl in, finishing with a time of 23:30.5, while Sara Fisher clocked in at 26:54.2.

On the men's side, Saul Mora was the top finisher for Citrus, posting a time of 22:52.3 in the four-mile race. Jason Bailey followed in 23:49.0, while Edward Prestegui Melchor rounded out the top-three runners with a time of 24:14.6.

Larue will compete at the State Championship in Fresno on Saturday.
