Victor Accepts Assistant Job at Eastern Washington

Glendora, CA -- Citrus College Head Men’s Basketball Coach Chris Victor has accepted a position on the Men’s Basketball staff at NCAA Division I Eastern Washington University it was announced on Monday. Victor will join a program that is coming off a share of the Big Sky Conference regular season championship and Big Sky Conference Tournament championship, as well as the Eagles’ second ever trip to the NCAA Tournament.
Roach and Hill Sign

Glendora, CA -- Citrus College sophomore John “JT” Roach and Chaunce Hill became the first two Citrus College Men’s Basketball players to sign scholarship offers over the past week. Both will be headed to NCAA DII institutions next year as Roach will be suiting up for Concordia University in Irvine and Hill at Eastern New Mexico University.
Owls Bow Out In Regional Quarterfinals

San Jacinto, CA -- For the first time in eight years, the Citrus College Men's Basketball teams season ended without a win in the post-season. The Owls' season came to a close at Mt. San Jacinto College for the second straight year in a 69-87 loss at the hands of the Eagles.

Owls In Post-Season For 9th Straight Year

Glendora, CA -- For the 9th consecutive season the Citrus College Men's Basketball program will be a part of the California Community College Athletic Association post-season. The Owls earned the #10 seed in the Southern California Regional Playoffs and will travel to #7 Mt. San Jacinto College on Friday.
Blown Out In the Second Half

Santa Clarita, CA -- Needing a win to improve their post-season seeding on Monday, the Citrus College Men’s Basketball team came out of the gate and looked great for the first 20 minutes of play on Saturday night in their regular season finale at College of the Canyons. The second half was another story though, as the Owls were blown out 53-37 in an eventual 79-72 setback at the hands of the Cougars.

Culver City, CA -- The Citrus College Men’s Basketball team ran into a buzzsaw on Wednesday night when they travelled to West Los Angeles College. The Owls faltered out of the gate, and never recovered in a 80-72 loss.
The Hard Way

Glendora, CA -- The Citrus College Men’s Basketball team closed out their 2014-2015 regular season home slate on Saturday afternoon when they hosted Los Angeles Valley College. The Owls won, but they did it the hard way, trailing for the vast majority of the second half until a late surge gave them an 85-74 victory.
Comeback Kids

Glendora, CA -- After trailing by 20 points at halftime and 24 early in the second half, there wouldn’t be too many people who would have picked the Citrus College Men’s Basketball team to come back against State #7 and SoCal #4 Antelope Valley College. The Owls did just that though, posting one of the biggest comebacks in recent program history in an 86-83 win over the visiting Marauders.
Owls Fall Again to Bakersfield

Bakersfield, CA -- For the second time this season, the Citrus College Men’s Basketball team went head to head with Bakersfield College and came up empty. The Owls led by six points at the break, but watched as the Renegades outscored the Owls 44-32 in the second half on the back of 10 more attempts at the free-throw line than Citrus, settling in for a 74-68 win over the Owls.
Owls Survive Tough Test at Glendale

Glendale, CA — The Citrus College Men’s Basketball program hit the road for the first time in nearly two weeks on Wednesday evening, and had a tough test waiting for them in Glendale College. The Owls overcame a six points halftime deficit and survived with a 73-67 win.

Glendora, CA — The Citrus College Men’s Basketball program matched a season high by hitting 11 threes on Saturday afternoon when they hosted Santa Monica College in WSC South action. The sharp shooting by the Owls helped Citrus get past a talented Corsairs squad 75-64.

Glendora, CA -- After a slow start against College of the Canyons on Wednesday night, the Owls finally got themselves into a groove. The Owls turned a three point half time lead into a 12 point key WSC South victory, as they won 80-68.

Glendora, CA -- If you take a look back on the box score from Saturday night’s tilt between the Citrus College Men’s Basketball program and visiting SoCal #12 West Los Angeles College, you’d notice right away what the difference maker was. The Owls were outshot percentage wise at the 3-point arc and free-throw line, and turned the ball over three more times than their opponents. Citrus did however win the paint war, outscoring the Wildcats 28-16 in the middle and outrebounding West LA 46-32, including a 18-7 edge on the offensive glass in a big 58-52 victory for Citrus.
Hill’s Second Half, Powers Owls Past Valley

Valley Glen, CA — The Citrus College Men’s Basketball program snapped a two game losing streak on Wednesday evening when they travelled to LA Valley College. The Owls powered past the Monarchs thanks in large part to the second half effort of sophomore Chaunce Hill, who had 10 points and 11 rebounds in the final 20 minutes alone, in what was a 71-63 win by Citrus.
Slow Start Dooms Owl Against #7 Antelope Valley

Lancaster, CA — The Citrus College Men’s Basketball program shot a miserable 24.1% from the floor in the opening half of their road game at State #7 Antelope Valley College. That compared with a 52.8% effort by the game’s host doomed the Owls in what was a 78-96 loss for Citrus College on Saturday night.
