Upcoming Men’s and Women’s Golf Interest Meeting

Glendora, CA - Any individual interested in playing men’s or women’s golf for Citrus College during the 2016-2017 academic year is highly encouraged to attend an interest meeting on the campus at the Citrus College Driving Range. The meeting is scheduled for Friday June 17th, 2016 at 5:00 PM.
Bliss and Hoefferle Advance to CCCAA State Championships

Murrieta, CA - Citrus College sophomore Tyler Bliss and Tyler Hoefferle advanced to the 2016 CCCAA State Championships on Monday afternoon thanks to their performances at the 2016 CCCAA Southern California Regionals. As a team, Citrus finished in sixth place out of the eight teams.
Owls Finish 3rd at WSC Finals; Advance to SoCals

Bakersfield, CA - The Citrus College Men’s Golf team put together one of their best performances of the year on Monday morning and afternoon at the 2016 Western State Conference Finals. The Owls, who were stuck in fourth place for the majority of the conference season, came in 3rd cementing a spot in the 2016 Southern California Regionals that takes place in two weeks.
Owls Fall to Fifth; Dooley Finishes Third Individually

Murrieta, CA - Monday morning turned out to be a tough go of things for the Citrus College Men’s Golf team with the exception of freshman Brandon Dooley. The Owls fell to fifth place for just the second time this season at the WSC Neutral Site event with a round of 412.

Glendale, CA - In what ended up being a beautiful afternoon out at Oakmont Country Club, Citrus College freshman Brandon Dooley and sophomore Tyler Bliss each fired rounds of 76 on a tough course to pace the Owls effort. Despite the strong start by those two, the Owls finished in fourth place once again.
Bencomo’s 75 Leads Owls at WSC Allan Hancock

Santa Maria, CA - Citrus College sophomore Benjamin Bencomo continued his recent hot stretch of play on Monday afternoon at the WSC Event hosted by Allan Hancock College. Bencomo shot a team low 75 on the day, and the Owls finished in fourth place as a team once again.
Owls Finish 2nd at Home Hosted Match

San Dimas, CA - The Citrus College Men's Golf team finished in 2nd place when they hosted the rest of the Western State Conference on Monday afternoon at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course. The Owls finished with a round of 380, just six strokes behind first place College of the Canyons.
Bliss Continues Strong Play; Owls Finish 5th at WSC AVC

Lancaster, CA - After a two week break, the Citrus College Men’s Golf program returned to WSC action on Monday afternoon at the WSC Event hosted by Antelope Valley College. Scores were high at Antelope Valley Country Club, but sophomore Tyler Bliss continued his recent strong stretch with a team leading 82, while the Owls finished 5th as a team.
Men’s Golf Finishes 13th at State Preview

Rancho Mirage, CA - The Citrus College Men’s Golf team participated in the State Preview tournament hosted by College of the Desert recently. The Owls went toe to toe with the SoCal’s best and a few of the top schools in the North at the State Preview Tournament hosted by College of the Desert. The Owls finished just 13th as a team, but had some strong individual showings.
Bliss Leads Owl Effort at Pt. Conception

Lompoc, CA - Sophomore Tyler Bliss paced the Owls effort on a dreary day at the Marshallia Ranch Golf Course. Bliss finished third of all golfers individually with a 75, pacing Citrus to a third place finish.
Stuck in the Middle

Oxnard, CA - The Citrus College Men’s Golf team continued their 2016 season on Monday afternoon at River Ridge Golf Club at the WSC Event hosted by Ventura College. The Owls continued to remain where they’ve been for the first three matches stuck in the middle in fourth place.
Close Call

Bakersfield, CA - The Citrus College Men’s Golf team had their closest call on Monday afternoon at the WSC Event hosted by Bakersfield College at Stockdale Country Club. Just five strokes separated the first place team from the fourth place team, but unfortunately for the Owls they were the team in fourth, yet again, with a 390.
Owls Finish Eighth at Eagle Golf Classic

San Jacinto, CA - The Citrus College Men’s Golf team took a break from WSC play on Wednesday afternoon to participate in the 2016 Mt. San Jacinto College Eagle Golf Classic at Soboba Springs Country Club. It was a tight match with just 20 strokes separating the first place team from the 10th place team. The Owls would have a good showing, coming in eighth.
Owls Have Best Round; Settle for Fourth Again

Solvang, CA – The Citrus College Men’s Golf team put together their best round of the young 2016 season on Monday morning when they participated in the WSC Event hosted by Santa Barbara City College. The Owls shot a season low, 381, getting a round of 70 from freshman Brandon Dooley, but settled for another fourth place finish after losing a card-off to third place Ventura College.

Valencia, CA -- The Citrus College Men’s Golf team opened up their 2016 Western State Conference schedule on Monday morning at the WSC Event hosted by College of the Canyons at Valencia Country Club. The Owls finished a respectable fourth place, but well behind the top three finishers.
