Women’s XC Finishes ’15 Season With Second Best Ever Program Finish in Modern History

Fresno, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Cross Country program wrapped up it’s 2015 season on Saturday morning at the 2015 California Community College Athletic Association Cross Country State Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno, CA. The Owls finished 11th overall which is the second best ever program finish in the modern state championship era.

San Diego, CA - On a near perfect day for running, the Citrus College Women's Cross Country team continued it's trailblazing season by finishing in ninth place at the 2015 Southern California Championships. It's the best finish by a women's team in program history, and the team qualified for the 2015 CCCAA State Championships for the second straight season.
Women Finish Program Best Third at 2015 WSC Championships

Whittier, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Cross Country team came through with the program’s best ever team finish in a Western State Conference Championship event on Friday afternoon. The Owls bested the fourth place finish by the 2000 squad, by coming in third place, edging fourth place Cuesta College by six points.
Women Continue Strong Streak by the Beach

Santa Barbara, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Cross Country team continued it’s recent strong streak over the weekend when it participated in the 2015 Santa Barbara City College Invitational at Leadbetter Beach. The Owls were a surprising 3rd place finisher, only finishing behind State Championship favorites, Mt. San Antonio College and Glendale College and just ahead of College of the Canyons.
Women Shine at WSC Preview With 3rd Place Finish

Oxnard, CA -- The Citrus College Women’s Cross Country program had a big weekend when they finished in 3rd place at the 2015 Western State Conference Preview. It’s the best finish by the Owls in at least 10 years eclipsing the 5th place finishes by last year’s team and the 2009 team.

San Diego, CA -- After a two week absence from action, the Citrus College Cross Country program returned to the course on Friday afternoon when they went toe to toe with the best from around SoCal in the annual Southern California Preview. The Citrus Women put together a strong offering, but the men disappointed after their strong start two weeks ago at Tour de Cuesta.

San Luis Obispo, CA -- The Citrus College Cross Country program got their 2015 off to, literally a fast start on Friday afternoon at the 2015 Tour de Cuesta. The Owl Women finished in first place as a team, while the men placed second.
