Brianna Gomez helped Citrus College women’s basketball go 2-0 last week with strong performances in victories over College of the Canyons and Santa Monica College.

In last Wednesday’s 66-49 road conference win against College of the Canyons, Gomez scored six points and added three rebounds, three assists, and one steal.

Gomez followed that with her third-highest scoring performance of the season against Santa Monica College in Saturday’s 79-71 home conference win, scoring 21 points on 7-of-19 shooting, including five three-pointers, while adding five assists and three rebounds.

The Owls will face West Los Angeles College on the road Saturday, Jan. 24, at 5 p.m.
