#21 Bailey Aguilar
Introducing the Athlete of the Week, presented by Raising Cane's, for the week of April 21st-27th, Bailey Aguilar!
Aguilar played a key role in Citrus Softball’s strong week, which included an 8–2 win over Pasadena City College on Sophomore Day and a doubleheader split at Cuesta College. Across the three games, Bailey went 4-for-9 at the plate, collecting two doubles, three RBIs, two runs scored, and a walk. She also made a key defensive play, helping turn a double play in game two against Cuesta.
For the season, Aguilar is hitting .311, with 14 hits, 11 RBIs, six walks, and nine putouts on defense.
The Owls are back in action this weekend in the first round of the 3C2A SoCal Regionals, taking on Cerritos College. Game one is Friday, May 2 at 2 p.m., followed by game two Saturday, May 3 at 12 p.m., and game three at 2 p.m. if necessary.
