#5 Mia Godoy

Introducing the Citrus College Athlete of the Week, presented by Raising Cane's for the week of January 26-February 1, Mia Godoy!

Mia helped Softball go 3-2 over their last five games, helping them earn key wins over Mt. San Jacinto, Orange Coast and Saddleback.

Mia Godoy had a standout stretch for the Owls over thier last five games. She went 5-for-14 at the plate with eight RBIs, three runs scored, and drew four walks, highlighted by a home run against Mt. San Jacinto. Defensively, Godoy handled first base flawlessly, recording 33 putouts, while also stealing a base and only striking out once the span of the five games. Her timely hitting, power, and strong defense were key factors in Citrus’ recent victories.

Next up, Citrus will host Ventura College tomorrow, Thursday, February 5 at 1 p.m.
