Freshman middle blocker Shaylen McFoy made a major impact for Volleyball last week, helping the Owls capture their first conference win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Antelope Valley on Wednesday, October 1. McFoy also played a key role in the team’s hard-fought battle against No. 9–ranked Santa Monica College on Friday, October 3.

Across both matches, McFoy totaled nine kills, five solo blocks, and two block assists, showcasing her presence at the net on both sides of the ball. The Owls return to action this Friday, October 10, on the road against West LA at 6 p.m.
