Athletic Trainer Scott Norman, ATC
Athletic Trainer Scott Norman ATC is an NATABOC certified Athletic Trainer and came to Citrus College in ’02, he was the Fitness Director at Peachwood Physical Therapy from ’94 to ‘99. In ’99 Norman moved on to become the Sports Medicine Director for Fortanasce Physical Therapy in Arcadia. Then in ’01 Norman went to work for Casa Colina Rehabilitation Hospital as clinical director in their South Pasadena facility. Finally, in ’02 Norman became a member of the “Fighting Owls” staff, where currently he is an Assistant Athletic Trainer and Adjunct Faculty member. Norman the son of Gordon and Diane Norman, the youngest of three, was born and reared in Glendora, Ca. Where he grew up and attended Glendora High School, and went on to earn 9 varsity letters in his 4 years at GHS. He then went on to graduate in 1987. Then Norman enrolled in our very own Citrus College, where he played football for 3 seasons under Coach Mike Merandi. Norman graduated with his AA degree in ’90. After his stint at Citrus College Norman moved on to Cal State Northridge where he also played football for 3 seasons, and went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training in 1994. Before graduating, Norman also earned his NATABOC certification and became a Certified Athletic Trainer. Norman is currently pursuing his Master's degree from Azusa Pacific University; he is on schedule to graduate in the fall of ’08. Norman is married to his lovely wife Jaime and they have three children, Trenton, Taylor, and Troy. When he is not at work or going to school Norman enjoys spending time with the family, mountain biking, snowboarding, and swimming. Norman currently resides in Covina. |
Athletic Trainer Valencia Hamilton, ATC

Athletic Trainer Jose Sanchez, MS, ATC
Jose Sanchez joined the Citrus College Athletic Training staff in August of 2023. The Fontana native earned his undergrad degree in athletic training from Cal State Fullerton and grabbed his Master's in Exercise Science from California Baptist University. Before Citrus, Sanchez was the head athletic trainer at JSerra Catholic High School and an assistant AT at Hope International University. Sanchez says his favorite AT memory so far was winning the "treble" (Trinity League, Souther Section, Regional CIF) with the No. 1-ranked JSerra men's soccer team. When he's not working, Sanchez enjoys trying new places to eat, training in jiu-jitsu, visiting National Parks, and spending time with his family and his pug Kobe. |
